At a Richland Township precinct, voting at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, voter turnout was light this morning.

As of 10:45 a.m., only 33 of the 438 voters had cast ballets, Donna Ondrejack, the precinct judge of elections said.

But she still hoping that the turnout will at least meet the 30 plus percent that has been predicted by Cambria County election supervisor, Fred R. Smith.

Of the 33 voters who had cast ballots, 19 were Democrats and 14 were Republicans.

By early afternoon, Smith said the election was proceeding as expected.

Smith said the rain appeared to be keeping voters away. But said things were proceeding smoothly with no problems reported.
