Forest Hills’ Bo Bassett and Mason Gibson won freestyle and Greco-Roman titles this weekend, as well as a folkstyle championship in March. This is considered the Pennsylvania Triple Crown – winning all three state titles. This was Bassett’s fourth straight year of winning the coveted Triple Crown.

Forest Hills’ Keegan Bassett earned freestyle and Greco-Roman gold medals over the weekend.

Other freestyle champs included Forest Hills’ Devon Magro and Melvin Miller and Chestnut Ridge’s Dom Deputy and Kooper Deputy.

Greco-Roman titlists consisted of Forest Hills’ Jackson Arrington, who won PIAA Class AA 113-pound title as a freshman in March, C.J. Pensiero and Luke Pensiero.

Arrington and Erik Gibson, who earned a PIAA Class AA 138-pound bronze medal, qualified for nationals in Fargo, North Dakota.

The rest of this weekend’s champions will be competing in the Schoolboy Nationals in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. in June.
