St. Francis will be the No. 5 seed in the Northeast Conference tournament when the Red Flash travel to defending NEC champion Mount St. Mary’s for a quarterfinal game on Wednesday night.

The Flash beat the Mountaineers 63-60 in Loretto on Feb. 26. Earl Brown led all scorers with 16 points and was one of three Red Flash players to reach double figures. Greg Brown added 11 points and Ben Millaud-Meunier had 10.

The Flash, who finished 15-14 overall, their first winning regular season in 10 years, found success as the visitors in last season's No. 4 vs. No. 5 game, defeating Bryant, 55-54. That gave the Flash its first NEC tournament win since 1995 and first road tournament win since 1989.
