Bishop McCort collegiate announcement

Six Bishop McCort Catholic High School student-athletes announced their college intentions during a ceremony on Wednesday afternoon at the school.

Those participating in the Crimson Crushers’ spring athletic signing day included:

• Ryan Flowers, who will attend Lock Haven University and play football in the NCAA Division II Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).

• Michael Hanik, who will attend Pitt-Johnstown and compete in cross country and track and field in the PSAC.

• Darius Hinton, who will attend St. Vincent College and compete in cross country and track and field in the NCAA Division III Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC).

• Rebecca Ribblett, who will attend Slippery Rock University and compete in cheer at the PSAC school.

• Ben Seidel, who will attend St. Francis University and play basketball as a preferred walk-on at the NCAA Division I Northeast Conference program.

• Sierra Widmar, who will attend St. Vincent College and play volleyball at the PAC school.
