STATE COLLEGE – Penn State starting center Michal Menet on Tuesday announced via social media he will return to school next season. Menet, a redshirt junior, has started in each of Penn State's 12 games this year.

"I have been very blessed during my football career to have the opportunity to play at the highest level and be in this position," Menet's tweet read. "After discussing with my family and coaches, I have decided to return to Penn State for my senior year."

Menet's announcement comes just three days after Penn State tight end Pat Freiermuth tweeted he's returning to Penn State next season.

Menet was named to the Rimington Trophy preseason watch list at the beginning of the year. The Rimington Trophy is given to college football's best center at the end of the season.
