SCRANTON – Despite a late 16-4 run that cut the deficit to six points, the Mount Aloysius women lost 60-53 to host Marywood at the Marywood University Tournament on Sunday.

After the Mounties found themselves down 53-35 with 8:35 remaining in the game, the visitors didn’t allow a Pacers field goal for the rest of the game. Mount Aloysius cut the Marywood advantage to eights points on two free throws from Abby Kulick with 3:57 to play, and Alexia Servello scored on a jumper with 3:10 to go to make it a 54-47 game. The Mounties got as close as six points on two different occasions in the final minute, but couldn’t complete the comeback attempt.

Kulick was a rebound shy of a double-double for the Mounties with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Servello scored 12 points, including eight of the team's first 10.

Abbie Zinobile finished with eight points, five rebounds and two blocks.

Servello was named to the all-tournament team.
