Paul Bugajski held NORAC Lab to only three hits in Principle Development’s five-inning triumph in Monday’s early game at Roxbury Park.
Ben Leonard had three hits for Principle, which also got two hits each from Erik Dividock, Brock Stevens, Matt Hanley and Derek Fallecker.
Russ Gray had two of NORAC’s three hits.
Delweld 6, Renegades 5
Dan Clark and Matt Staub each had three hits as Delweld claimed victory at UPJ.
Tim Freshour (three RBIs), Brad Smith and Paul Keith each had a pair of hits to bolster the Delweld attack. Delweld’s Scott Stern walked four times.
Anthony Mattei was 2-for-3 for the Renegades.
NORAC Lab 1, Grays 0
Eric Faint held the Grays to only three hits and Eddie Sotirokos drove in the game’s only run in the third as NORAC Lab blanked the Johnstown Grays in the Roxbury nightcap.
Jay Mitaly struck out 15 in the loss.
Somerset 6, Ebensburg 5
SOMERSET – Josh Barron singled and scored the game-winning run on an errant throw following a dropped third strike to improve the Businessmen’s record to 11-1.
Tyler Uphouse and Tyler Hayman each went 2-for-4 for Somerset, which scored single runs in the final four innings to pull out the come-from-behind win.
Ebensburg’s Drew Klezek was 3-for-3.
Claysburg 16, Patton 1
PATTON – Claysburg’s Tyler E. Claar began the game with a first-inning grand slam as the guests tallied their first win of the season. Cody Swope doubled twice and drove in two runs to aid Claysburg.
Jon Fees had two of Patton’s three hits.
Portage 3, Westmont 2
Portage pushed three runs across in the sixth inning to beat host Westmont.
Joe Borlie, Jared Bilchak and Zack McCabe each had two hits for Portage and Craig Burkett homered.
Brennan Becker and Sean McDonald each went 2-for-3 with a double for Westmont.
