Michael W. Grados, 41, recently competed in five events in the Canadian Masters Championships held in Montreal.
In his age group of 40-44, the former Westmont Hilltop swimmer finished with four gold medals. Grados had the fastest time of 59.48 in the 100-meter butterfly and won the 100 individual medley race in 1:03.18. He also won the 50-meter butterfly in 26.81 and the 200-meter butterfly in 2:15.70.
The Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force National Guard who is an instructor and pilot in Syracuse, N.Y., was also fourth in the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:25.49.
Grados is the son of Linda and Michael R. Grados of Johnstown.
