INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three Forest Hills youth wrestlers – Bo Bassett, Mason Gibson and Devon Magro – helped Team Pennsylvania Blue win 14-Under Schoolboy National Duals championships over the weekend in Greco and freestyle. In a field of 38 states, Pennsylvania reigned supreme to take both titles for the first time in 20 years.

In the freestyle championship match, Pennsylvania was fueled by technical falls by Bassett (10-0) and Gibson (13-2) as Pa. defeated Oklahoma Blue 39-33.

Gibson went 9-0 in Greco and 8-0 in freestyle, Bassett compiled marks of 8-1 in Greco and 8-0 in freestyle and Magro finished 4-0 in Greco and 3-1 in freestyle. Gibson earned a spot on the all-tournament team.

Bassett and Gibson won state titles in folkstyle, freestyle and Greco.

In Spokane, Wash., Team Pennsylvania sent out a Cadet team which took third overall in freestyle and fifth in Greco. Forest Hills rising sophomore Jackson Arrington went 4-0 in freestyle and 3-2 in Greco. Arrington became the first freshman in school history to win a state title in March.
