Forest Hills has accepted an invitation to partake in the 2019 Powerade Holiday Wrestling Tournament on Dec. 27-28 at Canon-McMillan High School in Canonsburg.

There will be 51 teams, including Chestnut Ridge, participating in the tournament widely regarded as one of the most competitive in the country.

Teams from Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia are slated to attend. 

Noted powerhouse programs in Burrell, Canon-McMillan, Franklin Regional, Kiski Area and Reynolds will be in the tourney. There will be 17 state champions in the field, including Forest Hills rising sophomore Jackson Arrington.
