New police lights

Emergency crews responded to multiple roll-over accidents in Richland and Stonycreek townships Saturday that temporarily closed roadways and slowed traffic.

The first incident occurred just before 2 p.m. along the 400 block of Eisenhower Boulevard and involved one vehicle, according to Cambria County 911.

One individual connected to that accident was transported to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

Riverside and Upper Yoder volunteer fire companies responded along with Riverside and East Hills EMS, and Stonycreek police.

The second roll-over took place on Route 219 between the Elton Road and Route 56 exits around 2:35 p.m.

911 officials said that crash also involved one vehicle and one person was transported to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

Richland Township and Windber fire departments responded with East Hills EMS and Richland Police.
