A Hollsopple couple face criminal charges in an alleged purse-snatching Sunday near Wal-Mart in Richland Township.

Angel Conzatti, 25, and Jason King, 30, are expected to be charged with theft and receiving stolen property, township police said.

An 82-year-old woman had walked away from her vehicle to return a shopping cart, police said.

As a pickup truck drove by, a person jumped out of the truck and grabbed the woman’s purse, which was inside her vehicle, police said.

“It’s sad it happened on Mother’s Day,” police Chief Michael Burgan said.

Surveillance photos of the truck helped police to quickly track down the suspects’ vehicle in Hollsopple, he said.

Police later recovered the purse, Burgan said.
