One person was transported to UPMC Somerset for treatment following a commercial vehicle accident on U.S. Route 219 just south of the Berlin Plank Road interchange, county 911 officials said.

The truck accident occurred at 10:15 a.m. Monday in the highway’s northbound lane, a Somerset County 911 supervisor said.

Somerset Volunteer Fire Department, Somerset Area Ambulance and the state police responded.
