A western Pennsylvania doctor is on trial for allegedly sexually abusing a teenage boy he met while working as a Boy Scout leader.

David Evanko's attorney says he expects his client to take the stand to defend himself against allegations he plied the boy with alcohol and pornography while working as a scout leader in the 1990s.

The alleged victim testified Tuesday that Evanko had dared him to remove his pants and told him to keep the encounter a secret.

Evanko maintains his innocence.

A separate child sex abuse case against Evanko involving two teenage patients ended in a mistrial in 2010 over prosecutorial misconduct. Prosecutors want to try the case again but Evanko's attorney tells the Butler Eagle he'll ask the state Supreme Court to prevent a retrial.
