State officials say the self-service wine kiosks being used at some Pennsylvania grocery stores are heading to Walmart stores as well.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has approved wine kiosks for 24 Walmart stores across the state.

Spokeswoman Stacey Witalec says the contracts need to be ironed out before the machines can be installed. That process could take months.

Walmart officials tell The Patriot-News of Harrisburg the kiosks will be convenient for customers.

The new machines would increase the number of wine kiosks in the state to 56.
