NEW – Drugs found in child’s diaper during raid

Pittsburgh police have found heroin and marijuana hidden in a toddler’s diaper during a raid at a house.

Authorities served a search warrant at the home in the city’s Knoxville neighborhood Wednesday night. Police say they found 49 small bags of heroin and plastic bags of marijuana in the 2-year-old girl’s diaper. The girl was taken to a hospital and then placed in the custody of Allegheny County Children, Youth and Families.

Police arrested the toddler’s mother and her boyfriend. They were charged with drug charges and endangering the welfare of a child.
