Officials say a college police officer suffered a graze wound while holstering his weapon at a western Pennsylvania state police barracks.

WTAE-TV reports the commander of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg police says the officer was wounded Thursday night.

State police say the officer was treated for a leg wound at a hospital and released.

The WTAE-TV report ( ) says the accident happened at the shooting range behind the state police barracks in Greensburg.

State police are investigating.
