Enrollment figures have reached another high at Penn State University.

The total enrollment this fall for Penn State’s 24 campuses statewide is more than 92,600, up about 2 percent from a year ago. The figure also includes those students taking online courses.

Enrollment at Penn State’s flagship University Park campus in State College also reached a new record of more than 43,200, up nearly 3 percent from last fall.

The university says the high numbers in large part reflect the size of the class that entered in 2006.

Penn State also says that minority enrollment is up across the system by about 5 percent.
