• At 4:20 a.m. Monday, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Cypress Avenue for a shots fired call. It was reported that between four and six shots were heard. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anything.

• At 10:59 a.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to 692 1/2 Von Lunen Road for a vandalism and disturbance call. Jaime Madden, 25, was breaking windows at his ex-girlfriend's house and slashing tires on her car. When officers arrived on scene, they found Madden and attempted to place him into custody. At this time, Madden became combative with officers, kicking the sergeant in the leg and then jumping on him and pushing him onto a parked vehicle. Madden was then secured by another officer. He was arrested for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment.
