A Hollsopple man will appear in Cambria County court, accused of stealing $6,350 from the Richland Township pizza shop where he was once employed, authorities said.
Jordan Paul Thomas, 18, of the 100 block of Railroad Street, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Wednesday before District Judge Susan Gindlesperger, of Stonycreek Township.
Richland Township police said Thomas was employed by Little Caesars Pizza on Scalp Avenue from June 2018 until May 10.
Thomas, a cashier, allegedly pocketed small amounts of money on each of 898 cash sales. The scam was uncovered after the owner examined sales records and video footage, according to a criminal complaint.
Thomas was charged with felony counts of theft by deception and receiving stolen property. He remains free on bond.
