Recently, I tried to go to Rite Aid to get a few things that I needed. I thought it would be best, from Vine Street, to go on Main Street and then to Franklin Street, but, low and behold, snow blocked me from getting across the street.

I tried several other ways, but couldn’t get going. At one alley, I almost turned over my wheelchair.

While traveling on the street, I was almost run over.

The city workers aren’t doing their jobs.

People in wheelchairs or walkers, and even those who can walk, could slip and fall.

Maybe a big lawsuit – if someone gets hurt by falling or being struck by a vehicle because of having to use the street – would   make the city pay attention.

This happens every year, and nothing is being done.
