Readers' Forum | Oil also a threat to humans, ecology

I’m writing to caution readers about Dr. Bill Choby’s Readers’ Forum letter of Jan. 2, “American oil translates to safer world.”

Like many Americans whose values are rooted in profit, pleasure and controlling power regardless of known or unknown consequences or concerns for harmful impact on human and environmental health, Choby fails to admit or embrace destructive adversities of fossil fuel (American oil).

That is pitiful and a disservice to informed Republicans, Democrats, independents, et al who do.
