PETERMAN - Ronald C. I, “Fuzz,” 67, of Nanty Glo, passed away Oct. 8, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 1, 1941, in Nanty Glo, son of the late Ernest V. and Oliva T. (Carrara) Peterman. Preceded in death by brother, Dick, and sister, Eileen. Survived by wife of 25 years, the former Monica Veneskey; children, Ron II, Pittsburgh, and Britni Rae, Nanty Glo; brothers, Ernie (Virginia), Ray (Jean) and Rob; and sister, Carol (Jack) Packer. Also survived by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leo M. Sr. and Leona M. Veneskey; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vicky, Paul (Mena) Veneskey, Norma (Blake) Netherwood, Sylvia (Rick) Der Vanik, Gwen Veneskey (John Urbanik), Lee (Marian) Veneskey, Lea (Jim) Humphrey, Ruth (Marc) Awada, Cathy (Deepak) Wadwhani and Jim (Tina) Veneskey; numerous nieces and nephews; and dogs, Ceasar, Tajha and Elvis. Member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held that afternoon. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. David S. Peles, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron’s memory may be made to The ALS Association, Western Pa.-W.Va. Chapter.
