REAVEL – James V., 87, Presbyterian Home, formerly of Moxham, died Jan. 21, 2008, at LaurelWood Care Center. Born Sept. 11, 1920, in Johnstown, son of Urban and Elmira (Stevons) Reavel. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mary Jane Drager, Helen McLaughlin and Marion Leber; brother, Eugene; and daughter, Barbara A. Dongel-Adams. Survived by wife, Mary Ann (Calderon); children, Maria, married to Robert Wengert, Baltimore; Lisa, married to Douglas Edwards, and James, both of Johnstown; sister, Janet, married to Richard Thompson, Johnstown; grandchildren, Elena, Robbie, Jacob, Cole, Alexis, John, Michael, Stephanie, Stacey and Leslie; also several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. World War II Army veteran, serving in Japan from 1945-46. Retired machinist from Bethlehem Steel Corp. with 37 years’ service. Avid outdoorsman. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church, Monsignor Harold N. Biller. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.
