GRIFFIN – Ann (Pyshnik), 99, Clements, Calif., passed away peacefully Nov. 23, 2007, in Lodi, Calif. Ann grew up in Conemaugh and moved to California in 1939 when she married Joseph Griffin, who preceded her in death after 45 years of marriage. She was a 50-year resident of Pleasant Hill, Calif. Ann and her husband traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada in their Airstream trailer to enjoy numerous rivers and lakes. She took pride in gardening, long walks visiting with friends, and her family. Ann touched many lives with her warm spirit and positive outlook on life. Ann is survived by her loving daughters: Jo Ann Schneider (Ron) of Livermore, Calif., and Dorothy Brown (Ernie) of Clements, Calif.; grandchildren: Larry and Jennifer Schneider, Dan Brown (Suzanne) and Jeannie Strongheart (Darryl); and six great-grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Bill Pyshnik of Vero Beach, Fla., and many nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary; brothers, Mike, Pete, John, Harry and Walter, and sister, Eve.
