Dawn Shields, Ryan Sojak
Dawn Nicole Shields and Ryan Paul Sojak were married May 10, 2008, at St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Davidsville.
The Rev. Michael Lewandowski, OFM, pastor, performed the double-ring ceremony and celebrated a Nuptial Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Edward and Carol Shields of Davidsville.
The groom is the son of Frank and Mary Ann Sojak of Johnstown.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Renee Blough, as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Sherry Gilbert, Ashley Lintner, Christina Gilbert, Jennifer Sojak and Britny Blough.
Luke Slezak was his cousin’s best man.
Groomsmen were Allen Gilbert, Brandon Desort, Randy Gilbert, Sammy Wills and Jonathan Sojak.
Lea Holtz, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.
Brandon Blough II, nephew of the bride, was the ringbear-er.
A reception was held at St. Anne Roman Catholic Church hall, Davidsville.
The bride and groom honeymooned in the Bahamas.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Bishop McCort High School.
She is a CNA employed by Memorial Medical Center, Lee campus.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School and a 2003 graduate of Pitt-Johnstown.
He is a nondestructive testing engineer employed RNDT, Inc.
The newlyweds reside in Southmont.
