Lauren Wozniak, Kenneth Pearce
Lauren Marie Wozniak and Kenneth Pearce were married Aug. 2, 2008, at Tenth Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia.
The Rev. Fran Pultro, pastor of Calvary Chapel, and the Rev. Carroll Wynne, pastor, performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Deborah Wozniak of New Florence.
The groom is the son of Scott and Patti Kent and Greg and Bev Pearce, all of Palouse, Wash.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Katherine Mills of Philadelphia as matron of honor and Jennifer Heim of Philadelphia as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Margaret Jankowsky of New York and Stephanie Foster of Columbia, Md., cousin of the bride.
Paul Ferree of Washington, D.C., was the best man.
Groomsmen were Justin Mills of Philadelphia; Philip Deerwester; and Jeffrey Kent of Palouse, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Evan Wozniak of New Florence, brother of the bride; Sean McCartney of Palouse, brother of the groom; and Brad Pearce of Palouse, brother of the groom.
Luke McClure of Bethlehem, Northampton County, cousin of the bride, was the ringbearer.
Norman Carter and Miriam Vogel were the pianists.
Sam Park was the violinist.
A reception was held at Abbraccio Restaurant, Philadelphia.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Bozeman, Mont.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Laurel Valley High School, New Florence, and a 2008 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she received a bachelor’s degree in physics, math and philosophy and a master’s degree in physics.
She is attending University of California, Los Angeles, where she is pursuing a doctorate in particle physics.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Garfield-Palouse High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and classical studies and a bachelor’s degree in applied computer science.
He is attending University of California, Irvine, where he is pursuing a doctorate in philosophy.
The newlyweds reside in Los Angeles.
