Heather Penrod, Jaime Bloom
Heather Lynn Penrod and Jaime Alan Bloom were married Aug. 9, 2008, at Rummel Church of the Brethren, Windber.
The Rev. Charles Statler performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard J. and Bonnie Penrod of Windber.
The groom is the son of Larry Bloom of Blairsville and Shirley Haney of Portage.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Paula Sellers of Windber as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Julia Bloom of Windber, sister-in-law of the groom; Amy Meden of Hagerstown, Md., friend of the bride; Jennifer Hoffman of Windber, cousin of the groom; Jessica Sesack of West Hempstead, N.Y., cousin of the bride; and Brenda Conjelko of Windber, cousin of the bride.
Anson Bloom of Windber was his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Joseph Link of Indiana, friend of the groom; Dave Zahoran of Johnstown, friend of the groom; G. William Stiffler of Windber, friend of the groom; Ben Penrod of Hooversville, brother of the bride; and John H. Beckley of Windber, friend of the groom.
Victoria Bloom, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Austin and Matthew Bloom of Windber, nephews of the groom, were the ringbearers.
A reception was held at the Masonic Temple, Johnstown.
The bride and groom honeymooned at Walt Disney World, Fla.
The bride is a 2000 grad-uate of Windber Area High School.
She is employed by YWCA Kuddle Korner.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School and a 2004 graduate of Triangle Tech of Greensburg.
He is employed by Eastern Elevator and serving in the U.S. Army.
The newlyweds reside in Windber.
