Cindy Moll, Don Sharp

Cindy Moll and Don Sharp were married Aug. 16, 2008, at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, Geistown Borough.

The Rev. Walter J. Moll Jr., brother of the bride and pastor of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Portage, and Monsignor Robert J. Saly, pastor of St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, performed the double-ring ceremony and concelebrated a Nuptial Mass.

The bride is daughter of Verna J. Moll of Portage and the late Walter J. Moll Sr.

The groom is the son of the late Homer and Edna Mae Sharp.

Presented in marriage by her daughter, Erika Leigh Petz, and mother, Verna J. Moll, the bride was attended by her daughter, Erika Leigh Petz, as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Christi Vavrek, Karen Bender and Missy Washinger.

Lextyn Hayden Alysce Petz, granddaughter of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid.

Jay D. Sharp was his brother’s best man.

Ushers were Ryan S. Petz, son-in-law of the bride, and George Decker.

Lana Custer, Pat Horvath and Pam Sharp read Scripture.

Gift bearers were George Marcinko, Carl Jason, Bob Bentley and Rich Horvath.

Grace Lechak was the Eucharistic minister.

Joe Gaunt was the organist. Frannie Lechak was the vocalist.

A reception was held at Sunnehanna Country Club, Westmont.

The bride is a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School, Ebensburg; Altoona Area Vocational-Technical School of Practical Nursing; and Pitt-Johnstown, where she received a bachelor’s degree in sociology.

She is employed by Richland Veterinary Hospital, PC, as the practice manager.

The groom is a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School.

He is employed by Gautier Steel, Ltd.

The newlyweds reside in Geistown Borough.
