Evonne Yanzetich and Edward Homway were married Sept. 30, 2007, at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, 117 Clinton St., Johnstown.
Monsignor George B. Flinn, VG, celebrated a Nuptial Mass. He was assisted by Deacons Thomas Buige and John J. Concannon.
The Rev. Clarence S. Bridges served as homilist and performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Edward Yanzetich of Sidman and the late Margaret Yanzetich.
The groom is the son of Edward Homway of Windber and the late Loretta Homway.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father.
Catherine Yanzetich, sister of the bride, was the reader.
Eva Seftic, sister of the bride, was the psalmist.
Cantors were Kathleen Bumbernick, Peter Yanko and Sharon Mastervich Yanko.
Jerene Philibin was the flautist.
Daniel Philibin was the organist.
Melinda Hartfiel was the trumpeter.
A small family reception was held at the Redwood Restaurant in Summerhill.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Forest Hills High School, Sidman, and a 1999 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsyvlania, where she received a degree in music performance.
She is the music director and principal organist at St. John Gualbert Cathedral and music teacher at Cathedral Catholic Academy, Johnstown.
The groom is a 1992 grad-uate of Windber Area High School.
He is a professional carpenter employed by Siplivy Construction, Dunlo.
The newlyweds reside in Sidman.
