Gleason to lead Pa. delegation at GOP convention

Robert A. Gleason Jr., who is both the Cambria County and state Republican Party chairman, will lead Pennsylvania’s delegation to the GOP National Convention Sept. 1-4 in Minneapolis.

Gleason was elected delegation chairman at an organizational meeting of the group in Harrisburg.

Other members of the delegation include U.S. Rep. Bill Shuster, whose district includes Blair, Bedford and Cambria Counties; Cambria County Commissioner Bill Harris; and Donald White and Christine Toretti, both of Indiana County, all as delegates.

Among the alternates are Johnstown Councilwoman Ann Wilson and Susan Layton of Somerset County.
