ANSTEAD - Joan, 49, Ebensburg, died Sept. 6, 2007, in Pittsburgh. Born Nov. 15, 1957, in Windber, daughter of George and Nettie (Myers) Segar. Preceded in death by husband, David Sr., and son, David Jr. Survived by parents; children, Marisa Coursen, Marcie, Daniel, Magen and Dominic; and one grandchild. CAMERON - Betty, 81, of Johnstown, died Sept. 6, 2007. Born Feb. 9, 1926, daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Hornick) Billow. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert, who died May 27, 2007; and brothers, Albert Billow and Andrew Billow Jr. Survived by sons, Robert A., and wife, Jean (Stephey) Cameron, Dilltown; Eugene L., and wife, Suzan (Baran) Cameron, Michigan; and William L., and wife, Cynthia (Wingard) Cameron, Johnstown; grandchildren, Rochelle, and husband, Aman Udani; Heather, and husband, Dave Majestic; Rick Cameron, and fiancee, Karen Morrow; Christy J. Cameron; and Misty L. Cameron; and great-grandchildren, Nicole Cameron and Nicholas and Abigail Majestic. Also survived by sisters, Dorothy Sanders, Mary Barrett and Rita Norman; brother, Arthur John Billow; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Betty was a retired teacher from West Side Elementary School, with 28 1/2 years of service and a member of PSEAR, PASR and Calvary United Methodist Church. Betty enjoyed her time spent with her YWCA swimming group of friends and with her church. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Moskal Funeral Home, West End, where the Rev. Kyle Cannon will hold funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday. HENRY - Patricia (Nelson), 69, Johnstown, died Sept. 6, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born July 11, 1938, in Johnstown, daughter of Francis and June (Rice) Nelson. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Kenneth Henry, who died Jan. 9, 2000; son, Daniel Henry; and brother, William Nelson. Survived by children, Donald, married to Christine (Frain) Henry; Peggy, married to Dan Murphy; Jacqueline, married to Joseph Chelosky; Darrell Henry; Janet, married to Robert Doyle; and Dana Henry, all of Johnstown; Marilyn, married to Doug Etchison, Okeechobee, Fla.; David, married to Tina (Shaydade), Seward; Darren, married to Helena Henry, Waxhaw, N.C.; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Pritt, Kathleen Van and Roberta Rhoads; and brother, Francis Nelson, all of Johnstown. A retired housekeeper from St. Joseph Church. Also preceded in death by sisters, Betty Rice, Grace Brendlinger and Ida Baxter; infant sister, Catherine; brother, Floyd; infant brother, Bobby; and son-in-law, Kenneth James Zack. Survived by wife of almost 56 years, Mabel (Deyarmin) Hilty; children, Sharon Hair, and special friend, Steve, GulfPort, Fla.; Connie Zack, and fiance, John Andrascik, Indiana; and Ronald "Ron" Hilty, Seward; grandchildren, Kevin Zack, and wife, Melissa, Indiana; Vicki Vanderwoude, and husband, Dean, and Stephen Hair, all of Florida; and Jill Gaston, and husband, Jody, Indiana; great-grandchildren, Kody Zack, Shae Caldwell, Lexy Zack and Morgan and Hunter Vanderwoude; sisters, Margie Jones, Blairsville, and Sue McAdams, Rochester Mills; brother, Blair Hilty, Indiana; and sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Mildred and Arthur Shirley and Edna Deyarmin, all of Homer City. LAYMAN - Cecil C., 91, of Richland, passed away Sept. 7, 2007, at Windber Hospice surrounded by family and friends. Born Sept. 5, 1916, in Johnstown, son of the late Charles Clement and Verrona (Marsh) Layman. Preceded in death by parents; brother, John Nevin; and an infant brother. Survived by loving and dedicated wife, Virginia "Jim" (Gossard). The passing of Cecil ended a 67-year marriage. Survived by children, Jerrie, married to Dean Schell, Moxham; H. Lynn of Greensburg; David R., married to the former Denise Shawley, Richland; and Dan of Milroy, Pa. Grandfather of seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and companion dog, "Julie." Cecil was the last member of his immediate family. He attended Tire Hill Church of the Brethren. Member of Greater Johnstown Lodge 0538, International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Retired in 1978 from Exhibitors Service Co., after delivering films for local theaters for many years. He enjoyed remodeling and construction projects, and was quite proud of his stonemason abilities and accomplishments. He also enjoyed his music through playing his piano, organ and singing old hymns of the church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Jack Rupert and the Rev. John Eash assisting. MARGUCCI - Guy, 86, Johnstown, died Sept. 7, 2007, at Select Specialty Hospital. Born Aug. 18, 1921, in Montalbano, Italy, son of Salvatore and Angela Marguccio, and stepfather, Frank Costa. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Marguerite (Shaffer) Margucci, who died Oct. 6, 1974; and brother, Nicholas Marguccio. Survived by children, Sam, married to Donna (Hirko), Johnstown; Robert, married to Peggy (Davis), Johnstown; Joseph Margucci, Johnstown; and Angela, married to David Frampton, Johnstown; grandchildren, Tammy, Sherry, Stephanie, Adam, Hope, Angela and Desiree; great-grandchild, Jaylynn; sister, Antoinette Vuletic; brother, Samuel Marguccio; and nieces and nephews. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Retired press operator from Swank Refractories. He enjoyed fishing. SHAFFER - Julia, 82, Moxham, died Sept. 5, 2007, at LaurelWood Convalescent Center. Born Feb. 5, 1925, in Steubenville, Ohio, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Hutcko) Grunza. Survived by children, Charlotte Boud; Richard Shaffer, and wife, Colleen; and Todd Shaffer, and friend, Janette, all of Johnstown. Also six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Hindman Funeral Homes -- Crematory Inc., Chandler Avenue, the Rev. Randall Bain. Inurnment, Berkey Cemetery.
