DEYARMIN - George A., 53, of Main Street, Gallitzin, died Aug. 30, 2007, at his home. Born Aug. 13, 1954, in Spangler, son of the late George and Glora (Bradley) Deyarmin. Preceded in death by a grandson, Shane Vincent. Survived by his wife, the former Barbara J. Bismark, whom he married Dec. 23, 1978, in Gallitzin; children, George (Jennie) Vincent, Mechanicsville, Md.; David (Susan) Vincent, Gallitzin; Danette Griffin, Beaver Creek, Ohio; and Nicole Vincent, Ebensburg; grandchildren, David, Tyler, Deena, Samantha, Shelby, Tennye and Tyron; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Landon; and his dog, Holly. George was a 32nd Degree Mason. Member of Gallitzin Sportsmen's Club. Social member of Gallitzin American Legion. At the request of George, there will be no viewing or visitation. FELTON - Viola J., 64, Armagh, died Aug. 28, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Oct. 21, 1942, in New Florence, daughter of late Joseph and Catherine (Yarnell) Kisamore. Also preceded in death by son, John Felton Jr., and brothers, Henry and Joseph Kisamore. Survived by children, Barbara Faraci, and husband, Jerome, Redondo Beach, Calif.; Mark Felton, Johnstown; and Sueann Felton, Armagh; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister, Carole Felton, and husband, Carl, Columbus, Ohio; brother, Kenneth Kisamore, Armagh; and several nieces and nephews. Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, Armagh, the Rev. John Hodge. Interment, Bethel Cemetery.

MALEC - Mildred "Midge," 79, Johnstown, died Aug. 29, 2007, at Good Samaritan Nursing Care Center. Born April 15, 1928, in Johnstown, daughter of Peter and Frances (Zawlewski) Gorchesky. Preceded in death by husband, Walter J. Malec; sisters, Sophie Jacoby and Stella Pinarcik; and brothers, Frank J. and Joseph Gorchesky. Survived by stepchildren, Lawrence, married to the former Sandra Laverick; Ronald, married to the former Michelle Devich; Diane, widow of Gary Maschak; and Gregory, married to the former Pam Graffius, all of Johnstown; 11 stepgrandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren. Sister of Benjamin Gorchesky, married to the former Ethel Voytko, Johnstown; also a number of nieces and nephews. Retired salesperson from Martins Clothing Store. Faithful worker for SS. Casimir and Emerich Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic minister and where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, Franciscan Friars, OFM Conv. Committal, St. Casimir Cemetery. Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where vigil for the deceased will be held Friday.

PROBERT - Eugene J. "Gene," 62, Windber, died Aug. 30, 2007, at home. Born Sept. 13, 1944, in Windber, son of Homer and Ester (Watson) Probert. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Rhoda Stewart. Survived by wife, former Pamela R. Weber; children, Brian, and fiancee, Gina Faust; Jackie, wife of Jeffrey Sturtz; and Scott, all of Windber; and Timothy, Missouri; and grandchildren, Daniel and Crystal Sturtz. Brother of Marilyn "Boots" Cartmell, Wilmington, Ohio; Rosemarie, wife of Delbert Fleegle; and Judith, wife of "Butch" Crum, both of Windber; and Kathy, wife of "Babe" Shaffer, Portage. Gene was a truck driver for Blough Trucking, Windber. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Friday at Meek -- Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Valerie Conrad-Dembinsky. Interment, Dunmyer Cemetery. PUPO - Rose Marie, 78, Cresson, died Aug. 29, 2007, at home. Born Feb. 7, 1929, in Cresson, daughter of the late James and Lillian (Conrad) McClure. Preceded in death by sisters, Melba Adams, Deanna Reffner and June Cicero; brothers, Donald and James; and daughter-in-law, Louise. Survived by husband, William J., whom she married June 9, 1951; children: William J. Jr., Chambersburg; James (Connie), Johnstown; Judy Laverick (Jim), Ebensburg; Nancy Vaughn (Jeff), Altoona; Susan Perehinec (Mike), Altoona; Joseph (Renee), Cresson; and Mary Beth, Pittsburgh; also 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Laino, Cresson; Florence Mack, Pittsburgh; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society, CD of A and Senior Citizens, all of Cresson. Rose Marie loved spending time with her family, playing cards and bingo and family vacations. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where vigil for the deceased will be held Saturday evening. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Church, the Rev. George Gulash. REBER - Edward Todd "Ted," 39, Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Cambria County, passed away Aug. 27, 2007, in Colorado Springs.
