This group’s voices are their instruments.

“Motown & More” will be performed by the a cappella group Rockapella for Pitt-Johnstown’s Winter Jazz Series at 7:30 p.m. March 22 at Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center in Richland Township.

Winter Jazz benefits the Blackington Endowment for the performing arts center.

“This will be the first time Winter Jazz has featured a group rather than a solo performer,” said arts center Executive Director Michael Bodolosky.

The show, which features no instruments or recorded tracks, will pay tribute to the music of Motown.

Included will be a cappella versions of

hit songs such as “My Girl,” “Ain’t Too Proud Too Beg” and “Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone.”

The current Rockapella lineup features Scott Leonard, high tenor; Jeff Thacher, vocal percussionist; George Baldi III, bass; John K. Brown, tenor; and Steven Dorian, tenor.

Fans of the television series “Glee” should enjoy the a cappella performance, which has sold out national tours and guest performances with The Boston Pops Orchestra.

“We’re making every bit as much music as the whole ‘Glee’ chorus, but with only five guys,” Thacher said.

Rockapella is known as a five-man contemporary pop vocal phenomenon. In addition to live performances, the group is known for its five-year stint as the house band on the PBS children’s game show “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?”

VIP tickets include the performance and an after-concert reception that will include hors d’ouevres, beverages and a meet and greet with Rockapella.
