Democratic State Sen. John Wozniak, 52, and Republican challenger Joe Veranese, 37, outline their views on issues during interviews with members of The Tribune-Democrat editorial board.
The two face off Nov. 4 for election to a four year term representing the 35th Senate District, which includes all of Cambria and Clinton counties, plus parts of Somerset, Centre and Clearfield counties.
Wozniak lives in Westmont and was first elected to the senate in 1996. He was first elected to the state House at the age of 23.
Veranese lives in Upper Yoder Township, where he served one six-year term as township supervisor.
He is He is an owner of First Credit Resources, an asset recovery, repossession and collection consultant firm with offices at 1466 Frankstown Road, Conemaugh Township, Cambria County.
