A motorcycle driver was taken to Memorial Medical Center with multiple injuries following a crash Wednesday night on Broad Street in Johnstown’s Cambria City section.
According to city police Capt. Andy Frear, the crash occurred around 10:15 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Alicia Goas of Johnstown crossed into the lane of traffic where Darryl Stonecypher of Johnstown was operating his motorcycle and struck him.
Frear did not know if Stonecypher was wearing a helmet.
Stonecypher was transported to the hospital. Goas was not injured.
No charges are expected to be filed and the investigation continues, Frear said.
