The 13th pastoral anniversary of the Rev. Ronnie C. Morris Sr. and First Lady Lavonne Morris will be celebrated during the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Second Baptist Church, Blairsville.
The Rev. Lamar Lee, pastor of First Cambria AME Zion Church in Johnstown, will preach.
Russel D. Whitfield Sr. is the associate pastor of Second Baptist Church.
Dinner will be held at 2:30 p.m., followed by a program at 4.
Church to observe Trinity Sunday
Moxham Church of the Brethren, 536 Grove Ave., Johnstown, will celebrate Trinity Sunday with the Children’s Bell Choir sharing music in praise to the Lord during the 10:10 morning worship service.
The Rev. William Wenger, pastor, will preach the message, “Tell the Good News – Ten Ways to Share Our Faith,” Matthew 28: 16-20.
Roxbury church will note milestones
The Rev. Brian N. Simmons, pastor of Roxbury Church of the Brethren, 112 Sell St., Johnstown, will speak during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service.
His sermon, “The Greater Commission,” is based on Matthew 28: 16-20.
The service will commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Church of the Brethren denomination and the 116th anniversary of the Roxbury Church of the Brethren.
Background information regarding the denomination and the history of Roxbury church will be presented during the service.
Dan Croft of Somerset will play the clarinet and the Cathedral Choir will sing “Beautiful Saviour,” under the direction of Melanie Shiley, and accompanied by Ruth Corle.
A covered-dish dinner will follow the service in the social room.
Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Hymn sing Sunday in Northern Cambria
Cambria County Hymn Sing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Garmantown Church of God, 1935 Moss Creek Road, Northern Cambria.
Concert to benefit scholarship fund
The Carol A. Teti Memorial Organ Scholarship concert will begin at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Indiana.
The program will feature Stephen Gregson, a United Kingdom native and conductor, and Michele Johns, a retired professor of sacred and liturgical music at the University of Michigan; two previous scholarship recipients, Dennis Bell and Marissa Davis; and choirs from several Indiana churches.
The scholarship was established in 1993.
The committee has awarded $25,000 to nearly 30 IUP students.
The concert is free of charge. However, the committee is sponsoring a catered buffet following the concert to benefit the fund in the church’s fellowship hall for $75.

Westmont Presbyterian sets wholeness service
A wholeness service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday in the Westmont Presbyterian Church sanctuary, Fisk and Luzerne streets, Johnstown.
The service will focus on healing.
Pianist in concert at Belmont UM
Jeff Painter, a musician/ pianist in the United Methodist church, will hold a concert and evangelistic service at 6 p.m. Sunday at Belmont United Methodist Church, 107 Coldren St., Johnstown.
Painter is the music director at Northway Community Church in Wexford, Allegheny County.
A freewill offering will be accepted.

Somerset church plans Bible conference
Berachah Baptist Church, Route 281, one mile north of Somerset, will hold its spring Bible conference at 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
The theme is “It Could Happen in a Moment,” centered on the second coming of Christ.
Wymal Porter of Chattanooga, Tenn., will speak.
Porter taught Bible courses at Tennessee Temple Schools, under the leadership of Lee Roberson, and has been busy in itinerant ministry since leaving the teaching position.
Dale A. Lyzbicki is host pastor.
Singer to be featured at Indiana church
Ivan Parker, a popular southern gospel recording artist, will be featured in a musical event at 7 p.m. Sunday at First Church of God, 541 Lutz School Road, Indiana.

Berkey church books New Spirit Quartet
New Spirit Quartet will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday at Berkey Church of the Brethren, 1038 Church Drive, Windber.

India Children’s Choir at Summit Chapel
India Children’s Choir will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Summit Chapel United Methodist Church, 2142 William Penn Ave., Johnstown.
The choir, sponsored by Bibles for the World, consists of 22 children who live in northeast India.
Mount Sinai to hold annual revival
Mount Sinai Institutional Baptist Church, 111 Cambria St., Johnstown, will hold its annual summit revival at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Rev. C.M. Richardson, pastor of Nazareth Baptist Church in Opelika, Ala., will deliver the message.
William A. Rozier, trustee, and Sister Lynn Banks will lecture.
Public praise, worship in Central Park
Scott and Trish Fyock and friends will lead a public praise and worship in Central Park Gazebo in downtown Johnstown.
Weather permitting, worship will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday; May 28; June 4, 11 and 18; July 2, 9 and 16; Aug. 6, 13 and 20; and Sept. 3, 10 and 17.
Churches planning Eucharistic procession
The Catholic Churches of Cambria City are planning a Eucharistic procession for the Feast of Corpus Christi at 2 p.m. May 25.
The Eucharist will be carried in procession beginning at Immaculate Conception, stopping at St. Stephen’s, St. Mary’s, SS. Casimir & Emerich, St. Rochus and concluding at St. Columba’s, where Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will be held.
A social will follow.
In case of inclement weather, the celebration will be held at SS. Casimir & Emerich’s, 501 Power St.
