Allied Artists of Johnstown Winter Show will have an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at AmeriServ Financial, Main and Franklin streets in downtown Johnstown.

Allegheny Adventure X-Fest will be held Saturday and Oct. 4, and it’s a weekend designed to showcase the area’s outdoor opportunities, create a culture of health and fitness and encourage residents to experience  recreation that is in their own backyards.
