BY RUTH RICE

RRICE@TRIBDEM.COM

There will be a red carpet and the dress is semiformal, but it’s not the Oscars or Tonys.

The 2008 Altoona Community Theatre’s Isaac Awards ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. June 1 at the Mishler Theatre, 1208 12th Ave., Altoona.

The Isaac recognizes and supports excellence in the region’s high school musical theater and is named for Isaac Mishler, who built the historic Altoona theater.
