Lonsingers note golden date

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lonsinger of Benshoff Hill have noted their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner given by their family at Off the Rak Restaurant in Ebensburg.
Mr. Lonsinger and the former Delores Ann Way were married June 14, 1958, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Johnstown, by Pastor George E. Nein Jr.
Mr. Lonsinger is the son of Russell and Helen Lonsinger of Tanneryville.
Mrs. Lonsinger is the daughter of Jack and Anna Way of Cambria City.
After returning from military duty in Alaska, Mr. Lonsinger worked for 36 years at Penelec.
He also worked part-time at H.F. Lenz Co.
He enjoys hunting, fishing and working in the yard.
Mrs. Lonsinger worked at Tops Diner.
She is a volunteer at her church and at the Church of the Brethren Home.
She enjoys doing counted-cross stitch, reading, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
The Lonsingers are members of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.
They are the parents of four children: Linda, wife of Tom Gray, Johnstown; Peggy, wife of John Mathieson, Newville, Cumberland County; Donna, wife of
Larry Shaw, Johnstown; and Bruce, married to the former Valerie Callahan, Columbus, Ohio.
There are eight grandchildren: Erin Gray, Courtney and Brianne Mathieson, Dalen and Branden Lonsinger, Darius Shaw and Corey and Christopher Lonsinger.
There is a great-granddaughter, Allie Gray.
