Thomas couple note 60th date

— Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thomas of Johnstown have noted their 60th wedding anniver-sary with a family dinner given by their children at Anthony’s Restaurant, Geistown Borough.
Mr. Thomas and the former Norma Thomas were married April 24, 1948, at Stahl Mennonite Church, Johnstown.
Mr. Thomas is the son of Webster and Ella Thomas. Mrs. Thomas is the daughter of Levi and Maggie Thomas.
Mr. Thomas is a retired diesel mechanic.
Mrs. Thomas devoted many years to volunteering and quilting for church programs.
The Thomases are members of Stahl Mennonite Church.
They enjoy traveling in their camper.
The Thomases are the parents of five children: Sharon, wife of Myles Shetler, Hollsopple; Carol, wife of Robert McKool, Richland; Larry, married to the former Debra Malloy, Hollsopple; Dennis, married to the former Sandra Wilson, Davidsville; and Quenna, wife of William Smith, Davidsville.
There are nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
