Wissingers note 50th date

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wissinger of Johnstown have noted their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at Oakland United Methodist Church.

Mr. Wissinger and the former Marie Jurich were married May 10, 1959, at St. Petka Serbian Orthodox Church.

Mr. Wissinger retired after 43 years’ service from Cambria County Transit Authority.

The Wissingers are the parents of two children: Tina, wife of Tom Covalt, and Todd, both of Johnstown.

There are two grandchildren: Tonya Covalt and Troy Covalt; and three extended grandchildren: Catherine Walsh, Michael Walsh and Maggie Walsh.
