Charneys mark 50th anniversary

— Mr. and Mrs. Art Charney of Windber have marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass and dinner reception hosted by their children at SS. Cyril & Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Windber.
Mr. Charney and the former Dorothy Adams were married Feb. 15, 1958, at SS. Cyril & Methodius church.
Mr. Charney retired after 37 years’ service from Bethlehem Steel Corp.
Mrs. Charney retired after 40 years’ service as a registered nurse.
They enjoy camping and fishing at Glendale Lake.
The Charneys are the parents of five children: Debbie, wife of Tim Campbell, Kansas; Denise, wife of Tom Badowski, Vermont; Keith, and wife, Jamie, Maryland; Kevin, and wife, Ann, Windber; and Deann, wife of Milt Baer, Windber.
There are eight grandchildren.
